Monday, March 30, 2026 until 11:59 PMCentral Daylight Time UTC -05:00

APPLICATION DEADLINE IS FEBRUARY 9, 2026 AT 11:59pm

    Greetings Students!

Be sure to read ALL of the information and follow all of the instructions to ensure no surprises, setbacks or delays!

It’s that time of year again! GRADUATION APPLICATION SUBMISSION!

The “apply for graduation” action initiates the graduation clearance process by notifying the Registrar's Office that a student has been recommended for degree candidacy by the relevant advisor(s) and department chair(s).  This action allows the Registrar's Office to conduct an official audit of the student's degree requirements to certify the student's eligibility. This graduation portal was created to enhance your experience by providing transparency and convenience.

You will use the links below to upload your graduation application form and supporting documents (unofficial Oakwood University transcript and unofficial degree audit report). You can access your transcript and degree audit report through your My.Oakwood.edu portal.

You will receive an email confirmation after submission and your department chairs and deans will be notified of your submission.

Late Fee's begin  JUNE 01, 2025 AND INCREASES MONTHLY

    APPLICATION WILL BE REJECTED IF

    1. The application is not filled out correctly (Do not upload blank applications)
    2. There are missing documents from the upload  (Grad app, audit and/or transcripts)
    3. There are any missing signatures (Even if your advisor is your department chair they must sign both lines)

    APPLICATION WILL BE DENIED IF

    1. There are courses outstanding (even if substitutions are needed, they must be completed before the review)
    2. Outstanding courses with no plan or do not appear on the application
    3. Outstanding exams with no plan.
    4. Student is not registered for the courses that appear on their graduation application

Student must submit full proper documentation. No pictures for the upload. Documents must be scanned into the application portal as these are YOUR academic records. Do not upload screenshot, images of computers with the documents on them, single page audits or first pages only. The application will be rejected. Talk to your advisors or department chair on how to properly upload  your application.

THE VERY LAST DAY TO SUBMIT AN APPLICATION IS 02/09/2026

Registration is no longer available because the registration deadline has passed.
